is there any fucking way you can filter ads/banners that have audio?

if I sign up for a premium account, does that remove all ads?

They actually are supposed to be filtered and NOT to have sound. However those ones are only in the topic pages, so if you login the two on the sides are hidden and if you're Premium the one at the bottom is hidden as well.
I'm not doing this on purpose to have people signing up, but that's the only alternative to Google ads that's out there. I will email their support again and see what they say.

I don't know why, but I can't view TheB9.com at all via Google Chrome. Right now, I'm posting from my phone. Anyone else having this problem?

Every time I do so, I get the message, "This webpage has a redirect loop. The webpage at http://www.theb9.com/login/0 has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer."

Sometimes this happens, many users do use Google Chrome (including myself) and the browser gets stuck. Usually just clearing the cookies fixes it. If you try with a different browser you shouldn't get this error anymore. If however still goes on, just send me a PM.

Also, I need help testing out the new player, which is basically a sorta of grooveshark.com for indipendent bands. Anyone interested in testing, just write me an email. This should be good to be tested next week.

it would be ice cold if when we went to another users profile, it would tell us if we have already given them a thumbs up or down. something like "grandemike88 has a thumbs down from you" under their name on the profile page or something.

I took the lateral banner off until they get back to me about it.

At the moment you can hide or show all of them, not just one user's.

Matteo, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but in the last few days I've gone into a few different threads (most recently the Touche Amore/ Negative Approach one) and had my download screen pop up. it says I've downloaded 7289ad.html. Any idea what this is? I'm afraid to open it. I'll provide more info if you need it.

If you use the Adblock extension for your browser, you can always choose to block the image in that person's sig, assuming that's the problem with the sig. I'd recommend using Adblock in general anyway

I actually don't have any error, is it still going on? Can you copy or send me a print screen of the error by email if you get it again?

yo matteo, this isn't a big deal but figured maybe it's something you'd like to know about -- noticed that in some threads, posts/usernames become emboldened. see an example here:

http://www.theb9.com/thread/848080/fat-troll-looking-bitch-sings-katy-perry-posted-on-theB9-board/last#end

also dost thou know who's in charge of what news gets posted on the homepage? I have a friend who submitted something for a record he's releasing (a link to a full stream of the record) and it hasn't gone up yet so he was wondering if there was a policy or timeframe for submitting news. thanks!

That is a 3rd party error that I've addressed to them already, while it's been fixed I took the source off.

As for the thread, it is a not closed Bold tag, I fixed it.

For the news, please write to info@bridge9.com and they should tell you what's going on with it!

banned.

There have been quite a few of these spammers who post links to bogus/sketchy online stores. I don't know what their deal is exactly because they don't seem to just be robots who register and spam.

Thread post count updates for people that post in bigger threads such as the sports ones. (Think about how a facebook tab is, you're now able to see if you have a notification without opening the tab)

This is a very minor nitpick but I was wondering if it would be possibly to take the timestamps in "my posts" out of military time and into a normal 12 hour clock, like the main board is in.
